Common questions
What costs should I include?
Include costs that you pay to complete these sales: product or production cost, seller-paid shipping, platform fees, advertising, packaging, software, and other overhead. Do not count buyer-paid taxes that never become your revenue.
Why is my break-even price higher than my costs per order?
Percentage fees are charged on the selling price, while fixed fees, subscriptions, advertising, and overhead must also be recovered. The calculator solves for the average order value that covers all included costs.
Are the platform rates exact?
No. The selector uses the same source-linked US planning baselines as ClearFeeMath platform guides. Category, country, plan, payment method, tax, refunds, and account-specific pricing can change your actual result.
